The XIV World Belt Wrestling Championship and the III World Championship in Turkmen national wrestling Goresh have ended in Naberezhnye Chelny

The XIV World Belt Wrestling Championship and the III World Championship in Turkmen national wrestling Goresh were held in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny /Russian Federation/, which were jointly held by the International Belt Wrestling Federation (IBWA) and the Belt Wrestling Federation of Turkmenistan. The management of the organization and conduct of the competitions was carried out by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Belt Wrestling Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan. The events were held at a high level. There were about 300 participants from 40 countries (from 4 continents - Asia, Europe, Africa, America). In the medal standings, Russia took 1st place, Turkmenistan took 2nd place, and Kazakhstan took 3rd place. The competitions were broadcast on the website of the International Belt Wrestling Federation to the whole world. Tens of thousands of people enthusiastically watched the course of the fights of these Championships online.

About 30 judges in two types of wrestling were trained at judicial seminars organized by the Belt Wrestling Federation of Turkmenistan and received a certificate of an international category judge from the International Belt Wrestling Federation.
