The international tournament dedicated to the memory of Shihabeddin Marjani

Kazan has hosted more than 23 representatives from different countries at the international tournament dedicated to the memory of Shihabeddin Marjani. ✅The competition was organized by the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, the International Belt Wrestling Association, Belt Wrestling Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan Republic. Wrestlers have competed in the following weight categories:
62kg, 68kg, 75kg, 82kg, 90kg, 100kg. The tournament is named after the Tatar theologian Marjani known for his achievements in the ancient Turkic form of wrestling “Karakaplan”.
